Ever heard of the phrase “food anxiety”? If you haven’t and are now gluten-free, especially if you’re Celiac, you will almost surely have experienced this type of stressor. Food anxiety relates to the stress caused by eating, especially when eating out. In this case, the burden is caused by being unsure if the food you have ordered or purchased, won’t make you sick.
Believe me, I have had food anxiety on multiple trips and vacations. I understand how this type of nervousness can affect and even ruin a vacation.
Using Online Search Tools to Find Gluten-Free Dining
An online resource I love to use when booking a table is 'Opentable.' This site is an online reservation site, which also has an app version. You can find them on the web at opentable.com. You can useOpenTable, or use their mobile app, 'Opentable,' to find and make reservations. In return for using their service, you receive points once you've dined at that restaurant. When you reach a certain amount of points, you can receive dining rewards through Opentable.
If you're going to make a reservation, you might get points and take advantage of rewards through Opentable.
