If you are in a city or largely populated area, look for the hashtag and the city you are visiting.
When I visited London, I looked up #glutenfreelondon. I found a dedicated gluten-free bakery two miles away from where I was staying. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get there as the restaurant we chose to eat at, which I also found under the same hashtag, was in the opposite direction of the bakery. Additionally, the bakery closed in the early afternoon, and we had just unpacked from our long, overseas flight. I was simply too tired to make the trip to the bakery that day.
I’m definitely going to visit that bakery the next time I’m in London!
Lastly, you can search on Google, Pinterest, or other search engines for #glutenfree (city or state). You will find any post from a blog, social media platform, or website that is tagged with the hashtag you are searching for. You may have to look through more information. However, you may also find an exciting place to eat that wasn’t posted on Instagram.
