Visit America

Visit America

America offers so many different opportunities, such as backpacking, museums, nightlife, and historical sites. Easily find activities for the entire family to do on your next vacation! The best way to explore America is definitely by car and make sure you create a travel plan or have a trip planner before you hit the road. You want to have a “trip outline” at a minimum and have the places you’ll stay booked in advance of your trip, so you’re not stuck without a place to sleep for a night.

Visit National Parks

My favorite locale to visit is our National Parks, especially in Utah. One of the main reasons I moved out to Utah, the National Parks in my state are nothing short of spectacular! With stunning red rock, awe-inspiring hiking, and unbelievable views, all one has to do is point your phone or camera straight in front of you to capture nature’s jaw-dropping beauty. Find out more about our National Parks and tips for gluten-free travel to our parks in Episode #46 of my Podcast.

What to do on a Road Trip

I’m always compelled to take a road trip to my destination. Finding ubiquitous activities, merrymaking at local parks, and laughing at particularly funny road signs, a good road trip is hard to beat! Whether you are on a short road trip to a nearby destination or a long-distance road trip, make sure to create a road trip planner to be ready for your journey. Check out Episode #13  where I talk about gluten free road trip hacks, what to do on a road trip and gluten free road trip essentials.

Are you looking to visit the wilderness, wildlife and see glaciers? Alaska is the place to go! You’ll find a variety of outdoor activities in July and August. I’d recommend taking a cruise to Alaska as you’ll get to see and do more events in the summer months on a cruise than any other travel method.
The best time of year to see and do things in Arizona in March and October when the weather is comfortably warm and sunny! Arizona offers fantastic hiking and mountain biking along with Native American Cultural History.
There are more fun places to visit in California than there are bad guys on the Death Star! The best activities in California are sightseeing at lighthouses, visiting museums and zoos, and surfing on the beaches of California. Warning: the water is full of eye candy surfers! Check out my California page for a list of fun things to do in California - including an itinerary to road trip on the Pacific Coast Highway.
